I am not the least bit concerned about Ground Hog Day tomorrow. A badger started to dig his way through the surface under the chair recently, and decided to retreat - hole is almost filled with snow again.
In the spring of 2006 there were badgers opening up their hide-a-ways in the area of "Burning Chix". I learned later that we should not have been as close to the holes as we were. I lowered my camera on a ski pole down into the hole.

| Dirt pile - without looking at the 2006 date, I knew this was an old photo - the young skier in the photo is now well over 6' and a basketball player at Maggie in Penticton. |
