It is not unusual to see a badger hole in March between Chix Dig It and Burn Baby Burn. In late spring, with sunny warm conditions, badger holes are sometimes seen near where the Stemwinder Cat Track intersects with the Baldy Trail. This morning there was a freshly dug pile of dirt and badger hole under the Eagle Chair. The site had been marked and hole covered by the time I had a camera there. This new location is close enough to the summer badger siting by the water treatment plant, I am wondering if it is the same badger or family. Will be interesting to see what is there in the morning.
