In 2012, I never thought I would be taking a photo of these two on the mountain in 2023. They were riding the chair one day, and discussing their equipment, thinking it had been a long time since they had their bindings checked. That afternoon, Delphine fell and her ski did not come off. It was a serious fracture above the boot. Her concerns that day were that some new ski clothing was cut off, and she had just ordered a new carbon fibre bike.
She is a determined Nurse, and was on that new bike shortly thereafter, and has continued to ski , hike and cycle. She did a 60km ride just before they came up to the cabin this week.
