Dummy downhill is back on April 6th, 2024, for registration. Reach out to resortservices@skibaldy.com max of 10 registrations.
Rules and info:
• No living cells are allowed in the race.
• No remote controls or human contact with the dummy is allowed after launch.
– Not higher than 6 feet, lower than 3 feet or wider than 3 feet at the base.
– Volume-weight up to a max of 100 lbs.
• Only skis or snowboards are allowed to mount dummies on.
• Dummy names must be suitable for publication.
• One team member must go to the top of the course to launch the dummy.
• Gravel and dirt may NOT be used to weigh down your dummy.
• No open flame/fire, fireworks, glass, or sharp objects are allowed on the dummy.
• Event organizers reserve the right to disqualify any dummies they feel are unsafe to the event and/or spectators.
Prizes for most economically sourced materials, creativity, distance they fly, and carnage factor. Only 10 dummies can be entered. A 20$ fee will apply for each registration.

| The First Baldy Dummy Downhill. 1993 - 25th Anniversary Weekend You will note one very tall Dummy at the far right. Al didn't know the height limit, and showed up last minute with a ladder dressed up. It was assessed for safety and competed. One of the most beautiful Dummy ballets ever. |

| Bob , with the winningest Dummy of all time. "The Dirty Old Man" That first Dummy race was the best. It was the Saturday at the end of a common week of spring break. Families were working on their designs all week, and out on the road and the slopes in the dark testing them out. |
