When one is watching a hockey game and yelling at the coach or players on TV - they don't hear it.
When one is badgering community volunteers, some people forget that they are community members, volunteering for the betterment of the community.
I don't follow all the Baldy Facebook pages, and I don't attend the AGM as the comments and behaviours of some are not good for my blood pressure.
Proxies exist for a reason. I have never been asked for my proxy, I have always sought out a trusted community member to be my proxy.
The Strata Council, Community Association and the FireSmart group are all volunteers. I don't agree with absolutley everything they say and do, but I appreciate that they volunteer their time, and endure unreasonable abuse at times.
I thank them sincerely for their service. The Geology Club and Community Garden I belong to do not tolerate the kind of behaviour that a few display in our community.
