Outside Tap

Have you given consideration to installing an outside tap, preferably one that can be on when your house water is off?

A hose and a sprinkler on standby is a good thing.

We have had the occasional fire start within the village. One year an owner left the mountain without fully extinguishing a fire on his property. I was able to grab hoses from two yards to add to mine and reach the fire and put it out.

Another time I was concerned about an owner leaving shortly after burning on his property. I used his outside tap and my sprinkler to make sure it was out.
