Our friends at the OFD are highly regarded for their training programs, and putting on exceptional events. Firefighters from all over BC, AB and WA state are attending the event. If you saw wrecked vehicles and other stuff on the Community Centre grounds today - they were setting up.
The weekend weather should make it cooler for them in their gear, but they have moved their Saturday evening event indoors.
Those of you in Oliver - tradition is to start the event with a "big bang".
