The BC Wildfire Service is currently seeing record demand in global user traffic to our app and desktop map products.

This includes a level of interest from users outside of British Columbia that was unexpected and is currently challenging our ability to consistently serve the Evacuation Alerts and Orders map information. We understand this information is of critical importance to impacted communities at this time.

While we work to increase capacity to service this user demand, we want to make the public aware of alternative sources of this information that provide redundancy for this situation.
