Monday Snowshoe, and a little history on the pole......

Hello Baldy Babes,

Monday, Monday, what a beautiful day for a snowshoe on the upper trails. This is one of my favorite snowshoes to lead. A quick warm up from the Lodge to Meadow Trail arriving at the Stripper Pole. Newly added bras were placed on the pole today. Hiking straight up to Dead End Trail, those with high heel snowshoes enjoyed the steepness of the slope. Thank you Cheryl for the photo of the Snowshoe Rabbit.

Thank you Primrose for taking great care of us and the kitchen staff preparing a delicious lunch: Buffalo Chicken wraps, Greek salad and Carrot Cake or Banana Bread desserts.

Next Monday is St. Patrick's Day so wear your green!

Looking forward to seeing your smiling faces next week.

Take care, Marian

The "Stripper Pole" sign was provided and installed by a breast cancer survivor. The signs were stolen at least twice. The survivor commented that when they get to the pole, it is time to strip off some layers as the snowshoers are getting warm. The lingerie decorating the pole are placed by the women in fun, and often stolen as well.
