Sometime between 3:30 and 5:30, a truck ended up on its side, between the hill and the transfer station. I did not take a photo, as I don't know the circumstances, or whose truck it is. It resembles one that belongs to a newer member of the community. I hope everyone is OK.
Just above the truck was a fellow who ended up high centred, and had just finished shovelling underneath his van. He had moved over for a vehicle coming up the road, and got sucked into the loose snow on the edge. He did not see the truck incident happen,
The road could be wider, but at this time of year, one needs to slow down, and proceed with caution. On my trip to town, I pulled into the soft stuff many times to give oncoming traffic more space.
There is snow, mud, and there are potholes. Drive for the conditions, and share the road.
