Easter Sunday, Last Day of the Season

Terry, one of Baldy's founders, was approached by the minister of his church about his poor attendance. Terry told him that he was closer to God when he was on the mountain, than when he was in church.

Whatever your choice today, enjoy your day.

I will be going out for a few runs this morning. I'm pretty much "done", like many of my friends, but will do a few more turns.

Thank-you to the BMR team for a great season, and for adding bonus weekends to let us down gently at the end. My 61st ski season will come to an end with my 63rd day on the hill. Mark has more than doubled my ski days this season.

That day was the earliest I ever got up to go skiing, 4:00am I think, to leave Osoyoos and ski the North Bowl before it got too warm.
