Chipping in the Gravel Pit Oct 25th and 26th

 

Moving the wood waste site up to the gravel pit above the village has been a great success and a great deal of material has been collected, mostly as part of ongoing FireSmart works. The Regional District is going to contribute the costs of a chipper and we are responsible for the labour. 

 

Could you respond by email snowmac@shaw.ca if you are available to help sort materials on the weekend of October 25/26 and what the availability is. A few hours, a half day or all day; for each day. 

 

Please let us know as soon as possible and we will determine if we think that have enough people. We think that we need 6-8 folks per day to use the machine efficiently. Thanks, Rod
