I suppose I could have had a look at radar. So often weather warnings are closer to the coast, and much farther east. Last evening when I came back from town, as I started up the hill, I switched my wipers from full on to intermittent, and turned them off before I got home. The density of "high humidity flakes" was much less up here, than in town and elsewhere.
I talked to Baldy family in Kaslo last night, and they had very heavy precipitation. (51mm at Coffee Creek). The images of the Fraser Valley , various highways, and Washington State are not good, but not as bad as 2021.
I am so glad that my trip to the Island was two weeks ago.
