It is snowing heavily, and forecast to continue through tomorrow with "light snow" on Boxing Day. Many families are in the village, with some Baldy families on the coastal side of the challenging roads.
New to the village? If your guests are parked on the street, keep an eye on the snow removal, and when you see that the road is plowed to full width across the street, have them move their vehicles so that your side of the street can be cleared. The consequence of not moving can be a lot of shovelling.
If you start your supper a little earlier, you can join the carollers at the top of the village at 6:30, or join them as they work their way down through the village. Thank-you to Scott and Robyn of Wapiti Creek Lodge for hosting the hot chocolate at the end. I encourage you to participate, I did for many years. The last toddler I carolled with is now in her 40's.
You may have noticed that my mouth is always covered when I am skiing. Please don't try to drag me out to sing with you. I have "reactive airways". Inhaling a lot of cold air through my mouth is not good.
Enjoy your family time tomorrow, and be ready for a Pow Boxing Day.
