The Baldy Bar

Noah 

Last Friday night I went into the bar for supper, and was the only guest when I went in. The music was a little loud, and not my kind of music. I didn't say a word - Noah walked over to the sound system, chose an age appropriate music channel, and turned the volume down. Thank-you Noah.

Primrose

Well, I have a soft spot for Primrose, as I have known here since she was a baby. Not only has she provided excellent customer service this winter, she has been doing courses, preparing for the next step in her education and work. The Baldy Babes gave her some house warming gifts for her new home.

Others

There are others who have worked in the bar this winter, but I don't know them.

Hilary

Her energy amazes me. In her working career, Hilary owned and managed a company employing 30? Occupational Therapists, and developed models for ICBC and the Forest Industry to get injured workers back on the job sooner.

At Baldy, she has volunteered countless hours to this community, including the Community Association, FireSmart, and Baldy Babes. Hilary has volunteered with Mel, helping in the planning and implementation of events in the bar.

Mel

Mel is a gem, and she has revitalised the Baldy Bar. She took the time to sit down with locals to listen, and ask questions. She has used her education and experience to provide a Baldy experience, and lined up entertainment and activities that work. 

The Community

Let's support the activities for this closing weekend, and have a beverage together Sunday afternoon for the last live music of the season.
