AGM is done, Council Has Met

"New Council 2022/2023

Congratulations to Brett Mykyte who is taking on the role of President, Michael for supporting Brett and becoming Vice President, Sieglinde for Treasurer, Rod will continue as Note Taker and Director of Public Works, Britt for Privacy Officer and Communications, Karen and Britt will work on Bylaws and Policy and John will support the Treasurer. Congratulations to all!! Let's support this council in working together ! Let us know how you can help support your council."

There is provision in the Strata Property Act for other strata members to help in committees. If you have a particular skill or expertise and are willing to be called upon, please contact the new council, and identify yourself and what you have to offer.

There was a time when I knew every owner in the village, and what their background was. Not anymore.

Brett was the unanimous choice of council to take on the task of bringing the community back together.

Road Widening

Bentley's people saw the grader coming up again - widening the road. 

Does Hometime Have your E-Mail?

When we started with the Firesmart Board, only about a quarter of Strata Members had their e-mail registered with Hometime. We have encouraged people to register their e-mails, and the number is probably way higher now. If they don't have your e-mail, you will have missed some important last minute communications relating to the AGM.

Jeep?

Anyone know the couple and black lab that were in the village this afternoon in a turquoise ish jeep, black top, winch on the front? They stopped next door to me and walked toward the house - what they said makes me think they were at the wrong cabin, and description doesn't ring a bell with the owner.

Wednesday - Maybe a First?

Sunny day - if you haven't been stuck here and cleaning your access daily, you are going to need a machine or an army to access your cabin. The grader doing the rounds in the village last night pretty much "cemented" the berms.

My memory isn't perfect, but if this isn't the first time the creek has been filled before November 11th, it is definitely a rare occurrence.
