The cabin most of you know as Randal's place, was our family cabin - first night in it was New Year's Eve 1968. Three sisters, their husbands, and 7 kids had a lot of fun here. The Fairweather family cabin.
The cousins have lots of laughs and memories when we get together - just a heads up - cousin Karen and family just arrived from Port Moody today, and we may be making a lot of noise on the chair in the coming days as we talk about the good old days.
This is an oldie - no Powderkeg. So the two with the red toques will be skiing together - still trying to entice the green toque to come from the coast, and who knows what the old guy in the white toque will do. Looks like Randal and Karen's skis are the old wooden ones.
The cabin snowshoes were a little big............
"Baldy", Fairweather family dog, on the deck with Alfred Gruhl, Marjorie Compeau, and Traude Aspe.
Baldy never seemed to be in the way in the cabin, but he took up a lot of space travelling back and forth.
