My side yard base measurement is finally down to 63cms. It sat around 100cms for a long time. Snow is "rotten". Wylee decided to go for a walk in the village today, instead of a snowshoe. It is very white up here, but most of the snow has gone at lower elevations.
This sign is at about 16km McKinney Road - I believe this was an access that was opened up during the fire. I haven't seen logging trucks yet, but have seen crew pick-ups.
Each trip to town looks a little different. Trees with burned roots are toppling. Some bend near the bottom then snap, and fallers are marking/taking down ones that look like they will fall on the road.
