I attended a FS webinar this week that was to include upcoming plans and changes for the coming year. I will review my notes and forward to the rest of the FS Board, but essentially there are no major upcoming changes to guidelines, and there was more talk about public awareness, including FireSmart education materials in school curriculum. I did post the first image of the 12 Days of FireSmart - if you have snowshoes and a hand saw, winter could be a time for limbing your trees higher. The subsequent images are really not applicable so far: ie today is raking leaves.
They lost my interest when they referenced a 12 days of FireSmart song in the works, and I did not participate in the FS/Christmas quiz, with questions like what was Frosty's nose made of.
