Decades ago, we had "Powder Week" - open every day for the week starting with President's Day. We needed some extra school days to fit in all of the school groups, and post secondary reading breaks often coincided. O&G had their tree planting team meetings here that week, and the bartender knew to stock up on Corona.
Those were fun times, and Mother Nature co-operated most years. I don't know how many of the cabin owners children were off "sick" that week.
We have powder today, and more is falling, so Thursday should be great. (bundle up, forecast is for cold)
