Canada Day - Busy Families, Neighbours helping neighbours

Great to see all the activity in the village, and the truck and trailer loads headed down to the burn pile. If you have extra fire wood logs, I can connect you with the guy who never has enough in his stockpile. I don't think he has time this weekend, as he already has a lot to cut close by.

Firesmart Canada requires that we submit a report and photos of our event day, so I'll be coming around tomorrow mid-day taking more photos.

The BBQ is no host, but I will be handing out discount coupons, and entering family names into a draw for a large discount coupon.

Join us at the lodge after 3:00, and preferably before 4:00pm. Don't miss the short talks from Rod and the Wildfire Mitigation Specialist. There will be a draw for FireSmart Swag and some Baldy hats.

We've come a long way, but there is so much more work to do.

It was great to see the loads taken down were dumped responsibly to save on the pushing msg costs 👍👍👍
