Under all of this wonderful snow, there are icy patches in driveways and walkways. The worst spots are where a vehicle was parked during the warm spell.
I knew there was ice behind where I parked my truck yesterday, and I sanded it. Today, I went out to snow blow - with metal cleats on my boots, and did one of those awkward falls that you watch on hockey and think "ooh, that hurts." I ended up with my one leg behind me, putting tension on the knee, (yes that knee) and injuring my ankle. A snow blower makes a great walker.
