Thanks to our hosts for a delicious meal last night. Very interesting conversations - I've known the others for years, but a chance reference to Banff led me to learn that Paul knew people that I have known all my life.
As for the crib, I used to play pretty well as a child with Grandpa Charlie, but have played very few games since. This guy was helpful coaching me, which was good at first. Then I realized that he was my opponent, and my partner was diagonally across the table.
For the record, Paul and Cheryl skunked us twice.
