It is no secret that I support and encourage recycling. On November 12th, I mailed some jars of my homemade jam to Toronto. They arrived while I was there, on December 18th. I had used pieces of bubble wrap and bubble mailer to protect the jars.
As I unpacked the box, I learned that bubble wrap is considered garbage in Metro Toronto. I questioned it, and it was confirmed.
Metro Toronto could learn some things from Recycle BC.
I brought the bubble wrap home to put in my "other flexible plastics" for next time I go to the bottle depot in Oliver.
