It looks like we have a few more cold days. The groomers are great, just bring layers, and it is best to cover your face. I've collected more than a dozen neck tubes/face protectors over the years, and pretty much have one for every weather condition.
When we were kids, we would ski all day, in any weather. I recall a day when all we did was traverse the South Ridge, in the approximate location of what is now called the Baldy Trail.
One day, my skiing companion looked at me and noticed a white patch on my cheek. She told me to take off my glove and put my hand on the white patch. Frostbite averted, and lesson learned.
If you don't have good face protection, call BMR guest services, Sessions in Osoyoos or a sport store close to home to check and see what is in stock. Even Canadian Tire is showing some in stock in Oliver, as well as packs of hand warmers that can be inserted in the pouch on the back of your mitts/gloves.
