Another perfect day of spring skiing. Corn snow right up to the last run.
* correction - the screaming sound of sleds echoed across the Sugar Lump, making the day slightly less than perfect.
A quick trip to town this morning. The Saskatoon bushes are pushing flowers, and the first of the Balsam Root are starting to appear. I didn't stop to take photos, as I wanted to get back up to join Lex and Gail on the hill. They set a personal best of 21 runs today, and I joined them for the last nine.
The spring park on FWP has been a great hit, and it has been fun to watch the young folks from the chair. Morgan is an amazing skier, and we don't often get to watch him in the winter when he is in the trees. Morgan and friends provided great entertainment under the chair.
Luba's strength and confidence in skiing has really grown this season. She has been skiing forward and backward, shooting video of the young guys doing their thing on the hill.
Lift operators continue to be their cheerful selves, and have been shoveling to keep the ramps in shape during the warm afternoons.
One more bonus weekend to go, Good Friday thru Easter Sunday. Pre-register for the dummy downhill, and there is an Easter egg hunt for the kids on Sunday.
Thanks team BMR.
