Snow is patchy in the village now, and it won't be long before most properties are snow free and ready for FireSmart activities.
Two community volunteers are working diligently with various authorities to secure a new site for disposal of forest debris.
I will be starting this week on alder and other debris around the daffodil bulbs that are pushing green now. My debris will go on a tarp on my property or in my utility trailer until we know where we can haul it.
