The plaque honouring Ken and his volunteer contributions was originally mounted on a tree on Tennings, where most of the Alpine Club activity took place. When the old terrain park was renamed "Wizard" (Ken's CB handle from our pre-telephone days) Betty's plaque was mounted there, as we waited for a deep enough snow depth to retrieve Ken's and move it.
With help from Mike and Uncle Bill, Ken's plaque was retrieved and moved to Wizard today. The older plaques including the one for Buzz Sawyer, and Fred Jones are as faded as Ken's . I have a connection to get Ken's replaced, but will be looking at some more durable options first.
