Residents in Big White and other RDKB areas facing massive tax increases - Kelowna News: Taxpayers across parts of the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary will get a surprise when they open their tax notice later this year.

"Taxes are going up 30% based on the following;

 -30% overall driven by capital purchases of riverside centre & food hub

-Beaverdell due to fire equipment aging out and budgeting for replacement
