I don't use the Baldy road very often, but it is good to see the project moving along. Spacing trees to make a safer escape corridor, and salvaging fibre for the pulp mill in Castlegar. I'm not sure about the slash piles, if there is funding left, they may be trucked for hog fuel. If not, they may be burned.
